  • Germany begins boat attacks against United States in 1942
  • On January 26, 1942 the US army arrives in Britain.
  • At the end of the year, Germany and Great Britain are engaged in war on the sea.
  • In 1943, the Soviets go to war with Germany once again in Stalingrad.
  • America decides that the only way the war is going to end when the Germans surrender.
  • Yet again Germany sinks 26 merchant boats off the US coast using its famous U-boats.
  • At the end of the year, Roosevelt, Churchill and Stalin finally meet in Teheran for peace talks.
  • In 1944, the Soviets continue their unreasonable attacks and extend it to Poland.
  • Britain continues it attacks on Hamburg, Germany.
  • Mid-year, in 1944, the Germans retaliate against Britain using missiles.
  • Germans try to assassinate Hitler but fail.
  • In 1945, most of the countries started retreating including the Soviet Union, Britain and Germany except the United States.
  • Roosevelt, Churchill and Stalin meet again in Yalta.
  • By the end of the war, towards the end of the year, in 1945 the United Nations was born.

World War 2 lasted only five years but there was lot more destruction involved and several armed forces like armed forces, naval forces and air force were used for attacks. The losses were very high for all the countries involved.
