The Italian cuisines have made a phenomenon distinction in the food industry. Every restaurant in the world will make a pasta or pizza. Not only does the style change but each region has its own special ingredients and flavor. The cuisine has certainly been influenced over the recent years with changes taking place in each and every meal. The meal still has the feel and flavor of the Old Roman era and believes in following traditions to the core. Are aware that the Italians had a cookbook back in the olden period some 2000 years back?

The fall of the Roman Empire led to this nation developing and undergoing massive improvement in the field of literally everything. Hence, each area soon began to create and adopt a completely new style of cooking which made use of the local ingredients and nothing else. The dishes are simple yet delicious and say a lot about their flavor. Now certain areas are associated with certain products. For example, Tuscan beef belonged to the northern part, whereas truffles were the talk of Marches. The southern part is known for producing the best cheeses, namely mozzarella and provolone along with a variety of citrus fruits. Italian people consume a lot of bread followed by pastas and eggs.

The southern part of Italy is known for its spaghetti while the northern part boasts of Soft noodles. The areas such as Naples, Milan and Bologna are famous for making some great pizzas, risottos and tortellini respectively. China use to primarily supply all the ingredients to Italy. The coastal areas are blessed with fishes such as Anchovies, sardines and lobsters. The spices used are mainly from the Arab nations.
