There were many people in 1980s that became famous because of their talent or sheer outrageousness. The 1980s was a period that saw many fashion trends and famous personalities that set such trends, that they are popular till date. Michael Jackson: Michael Joseph Jackson born on August 29, 1958 was one of the greatest American Recording artist, entertainer and businessman of 1980s. In the early 1980’s he became a dominant figure in popular music and the first African-American entertainer to amass fans all over the world. He is often referred as king of pop in music Industry.

Martina Navratilova: Martina Navratilova (best known as nine-time Wimbledon singles champion) was former world No. 1 and dominant women tennis player of 1980s. She was born on October 18 in Prague Czechoslovakia (Now Czech Republic). Martina Navratilova won every Grand Slam Singles titles at least twice.

Tom Cruise: Thomas Cruise Mapother better known by his screen name Tom Cruise is an American actor and film producer. He has been nominated for three Academy Awards and has won three Golden Globe Awards. Cruise's career began in 1981 with a modest role in Movie in “Endless Love”. This small but important role brought him to limelight in 1980s.
