So he turned Metis into a fly and swallowed her as soon as he lay with her. Who-Was-Athena-Married-To      Athena is the name of a Greek goddess who birth was very different. Zeus the king of gods married a mortal woman Metis and she soon became a pregnant. But Zeus was warned by other gods that if she will have a boy child and when he grows up he will kill his father. Fearing that it may happen, Zeus tricked Metis and made her into a fly.
