Hercules Greek Mythology

Hercules was the son of Alcmene and in Greek mythology eh was a great hero who represented valor and courage and strength. Hercules was so brave that he earned a place among the gods. He left the mortal world and lived on Mount Olympus, and that is where all the gods lived. He was the son of Zeus, the ruler of Olympus.

Zeus was an adulterous god, and he had a weakness for women. He fell in love with Alcmene, who was the wife of Amphitryon. Immediately, Alcmene became pregnant and gave birth to a male child called Hercules. Hera was angered by this and she tried to kill Hercules. However, he survived even after her assault. When Hercules was a young man, he was a popular and strong warrior too. He fell in love with a woman called Megara. He married her and she bore him children. However, Hera never forgave Hercules and she tricked Hercules into getting into a rage in which he killed his entire family. When Hercules was normal again he saw that it was too late.

He worshipped Apollo to forgive him and Apollo being the god of wisdom gave home ten very difficult tasks to achieve. Apollo promised him immortality after that. He had to kill monsters like Hydra and Nemean. These are all famous monsters of the Greek mythology which were causing Mayhem. Apollo thought he would get rid of them and has a clean world. Demons were actually the children of the gods, but they did not like them. So, they hid them in secret locations on Earth.
