Thomas Woodrow Wilson was born on December 28, 1856 in Staunton, Virginia. His father was a Presbyterian minister, while his mother was a daughter of a Presbyterian minister. The family was pious and gave a lot of importance to education and academics.

Woodrow Wilson And 19 Amendment

The 19th Amendment of the US Constitution states that all citizens of the United States have the right to vote and they cannot be denied this right based on their gender. The 19th Amendment was passed the US House of Representatives in 1919 by 304 votes to 90. The Senate approved the Amendment by 56 votes to 25.

After the passage of the Amendment by both the houses of the Congress, the Amendment had to be ratified by a minimum of 36 states in order to become a valid law of the US Constitution.More...
