Richard Nixon was the thirty-seventh president of the United States. He came into the office on a Republican ticket in 1969. When it comes to domestic policies, the Nixon administration is well known for increasing welfare payments.

Richard Nixon, born on January 9, 1913, was the 37th president of the United States from 1969 until 1974. He is the only US president to resign from office. He did this to avoid impeachment. Richard Nixon belonged to the Republican Party.
