He later joined a boarding school in Connecticut.
John had a holiday home in Florida and summer home in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts. He alternated between the two cities.
As a child, John used to fall sick frequently on staying away from home. In his college time, he used to visit several countries and was widely informed. He also wrote a book on his travel experiences. The book was called Why England Slept.
Even as a child he was intelligent and had leadership qualities. Though born in a rich and affluent family, Kennedy never was head strong. He was used to doing his own chores because of his hostel education. Due to his sickness, whenever he was taken into a boarding school, he had to return home. He changed schools often due to his father’s political career. However, he loved to stay in Massachusetts mostly.
