John F Kennedy Family

John F Kennedy was the 35th President of the United States. He was from the Democratic Party. John F Kennedy was married to Jacqueline Bouvier. He met her when he was a congressman. They got married as soon as he got elected as the State Senator on September 12, 1953.

Kennedy was a much younger president and even his wife was a younger first lady as compared to the previous presidents in the White House. They were very dynamic as a couple and popular too. They used to be featured frequently in magazines and television shows. They were as popular as any movie star or pop singer.

Kennedy was the first President to authorize the live telecast of a President. Jacqueline brought in a lot of art and furniture, and beautifully decorated the White House. They always had people over for dinners from the art and entertainment field in the White House. The Kennedy family was a well established political family of the United States. Kennedy’s father was a popular businessman and was also in politics.

Kennedy had several personal tragedies like Jacqueline having a miscarriage and followed by a still birth. The Kennedys had two children. John F. Kennedy had to deal with several deaths in his family before like the death of the first son, his own brother who died in World War II.

John’s elder brother, Joseph Kennedy Jr., was the one to die in World War. John and his brother Robert died in assassination. His other brother, Edward, had near death experiences in a plane crash and a car accident.
