John Adams Achievments

John Adams was the second president of the United States, and he was one of the Founding Fathers of the country’s Constitution. He was born on October 30, 1735. In those days, his father graduated from Harvard. He taught John to read even before he went to school. John Adams also went to Harvard to study law. He was admitted into the Bar Council of Massachusetts.

John Adams had several achievements in his career. He took some of the biggest decisions for America. He always promoted the idea of a national government. When the Republicans turned to him for advice on the government and its policies, he printed a pamphlet called his Thoughts on the Government. He was tired of telling them the same thing over and over again. In order to make his thought known to all, he printed this pamphlet. It contained several notes from all over the country originating from several states. He also made it clear to his party that all kinds of societies would exist in a country. People from all classes should have a government to look up to.

During the Presidential election of 1796, he faced a fierce competition from Thomas Jefferson. However, Adams won because he had a stronger sense of National Security. He saw that France was a bigger danger than Great Britain. He was only one of the two presidents to have signed the Declaration of Independence. He was persevering, and worked towards the prosperity and growth of the country.
